City of the Gods: The Cross of Saint Boniface

A knight in the service of the Teutonic Knights goes on a quest for an object that may lead to the destruction of humanity, only he is unaware of its power.  He comes in contact with a cast of characters who will either help him or kill him.

Against the backdrop of Eastern Europe, The Cross of St. Boniface starts in the cursed city of Starybogow, then travels to the Ottoman Empire as Djin and Eldar gods battle for the souls of humans.

The world of Starybogow is set in Eastern Europe in the year 1500.  An earthquake has released factions of the Eldar Gods and Slavic Deities who have battled millenniums for the control of humanity. On the crossroads of empires, political and military forces compete for control of a town which contains great treasure and power for those who are willing to take it. Teutonic Knights, Polish and Lithuanian soldiers, Cossacks, Hanseatic Merchants, Templars, Tartars, and Imperial spies battle each other on behalf of their own ends.
