After the recent attack on Dr. Carpathian’s stronghold by the Wayward Eight, things are set to change.  Dedicated to completely destroying the people involved in the attack, the doctor is distracted by a whole new enemy.  With the arrival of F.R. Caym, the entire Enlightened army faces a potential foe from within.  Will this young and determined mastermind help his father and uncle destroy their foes, or does he have a deeper darker secret to unleash? 

In this first chapter of the Family Blood series, the reader will be plunged into a new secret world within the Enlightened leadership.  New alliances will be formed and old family ties will be shattered.  Who will stand in the end is anyone’s guess.  Could even the almighty Dr. Carpathian fall victim to this new threat?
