Fangshi Exorcists are devoted Taoists who train for years to understand the relationship between the five basic elements and defend mankind from the spirits and aberrations that their nemesis necromancers may conjure. Armed with a sacred bell, horsehair whip, a blessed wooden sword and their most lethal weapon of incantations, the Exorcist can control or banish spirits depending on his ethical beliefs or needs at the moment. Exorcists often accompany armies into battle to honor and respect the elements bringing good fortune to the soldiers or monitor the battlefield conditions to keep the dead at rest.
